Jeffrey Lowe, Associate Professor of Urban Planning and Environmental Policy at Texas Southern University, will present as part of the Ervin Zube Lecture Series sponsored by LARP. 

About Jeffrey Lowe

Jeffrey Lowe received his Ph.D. in Urban Planning and Policy Development from Rutgers; a Master of City and Regional Planning from Morgan State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University. His research interests focus on social justice and racial equity outcomes iwthin the context of housing and community development planning processes and policies affecting lower-income communities of color. His scholarship, which includes several conference presentations, reports, book chapters, and referred journal articles, advances understanding grounded in space and place and offers lessons and policy recommendations for revitalization efforts post-Hurricane Katrina; community development corporations; university-community partnerships; and philanthropic involvement in local community development activities.
