Transnational Feminist Itineraries | Book Launch Panel

Monday, October 25, 2021 - 10:00am

Transnational Feminist Itineraries (Duke University Press) brings together scholars and activists from multiple continents to demonstrate the importance of transnational feminist theory and activist practice in challenging neoliberal globalization and the rise of authoritarian nationalisms around the world.  This new volume illuminates transnational feminism's unique constellation of elements, and contests the idea that transnational feminism works in opposition to other approaches - especially intersection and decolonial feminisms.

Join us for a panel discussion among eight contributors to this exciting new addition to feminist debates, including Prof. Millie Thayer, co-editor for Transnational Feminist Itineraries and Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
