The interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies is intended to enhance your graduate degree program with training in internationalism, multiculturalism, and foreign language.

Offered only in conjunction with a disciplinary master's or doctoral degree program, the graduate certificate program comprises language courses in Spanish and/or Portuguese, as well as electives from across the university that include Latin American, Caribbean, or Latino studies content.

Through your courses, you’ll demonstrate your competence in both area and language studies and build a specialization in the history, people, culture, and/or experiences of Latin America.
