Anne Marie’s current doctoral research (University College Cork) focuses on the ‘lived experiences’ of reunion for intercountry adoptees in Ireland. Her research is the first Irish research to focus specifically on the reunion experiences of intercountry adoptees. Anne Marie is equipped with research experience, as well as with practical experience in the field of adoption. Prior to her current lecturing role in Technological University Dublin, she has worked as a social worker in ‘information and trace’ in Domestic adoption in Ireland. Anne Marie is a Fulbright visiting researcher at the Rudd Adoption Research Programme from August 2021 to January 2022.
