Teresa Ramsby

Teresa Ramsby is Associate Professor of Classics and her research areas include Ovid's poetry and Roman poetry in general, Roman mythology, Roman social class and gender representations, as well as Latin pedagogy. Recent publications germane to religious studies include an articlee on the goddess Anna Perenna represented on a Late Republican coin. Professor Ramsby teaches aspects of Roman religion in her courses: Women in Antiquity (CLAS 335), Slaves and Freed Slavs in th Greco-Roman World (CLAS 355 IE), Ovid Seminar (LATN 455), and Roman Civilization (CLAS 102).
