Anthony Tuck
Anthony Tuck is an archaeologist working in the region of central Italy. His excavation at the site of Poggio Civitate preserves evidence of that community's development from the 8th to 6th centuries BCE. His research on the Etruscan culture considers the manner in which religious and ritual behaviors informed the emerging political forms of early Italian urbanism. His courses that delve more deeply into topics related to ancient Mediterranean religion include Etruscan Archaeology (CL338), Celtic Archaeology (CL339), and Greek Mythology (CL224).
