Tanner Oliveira

Tanner was a graduate student in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a member of the Human Robot Systems Laboratory working on a project to teleoperate and manipulate a robotic arm.

He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2019. During that time, he had worked on multiple projects to enhance several components of a wheelchair to improve the quality of life of permanent users.

Outside of the lab, he can often be found folding various origami models, playing video games with his friends, or hosting games of Dungeons & Dragons.
