BIO
Soumitra P. Sitole received the bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune, India, affiliated with the formerly known University of Pune in 2016, M.S. degree (2018) and PhD (2023) in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the Mechatronics and Robotics Research Lab (MRRL). He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the MRRL, University of Massachusetts Amherst. His current research focuses on control strategies for robots, and design and development of wearable sensors. His interests include prostheses, humanoid robots, artificial intelligence, and UAVs.
