Aaryan Chaudhary

Aaryan was an undergraduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of Massachusetts Amherst and a member of the Human Robot Systems Laboratory (HRSL). For his honors thesis, he conducted experiments to assess cortical activity via fNIRS and metabolic energy expenditure as participants learned to walk with a gait-assistive robotic hip exoskeleton as part of a collaboration with the Movement Neuroscience Laboratory (MNL) and UMass Integrative Locomotion Lab (UMILL) in the Department of Kinesiology. 

He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2024.
