The Center for Personalized Health Monitoring awarded funding to the Robotics Cluster to establish a new research thrust area on campus in Human-Centered Robotics. This initiative aims to bring together UMass Amherst faculty and student researchers from various fields to advance the field of human-centered robotics through interdisciplinary collaborations. The funding will support activities to facilitate interactions and foster collaboration opportunities between researchers in robotics, human neuromechanics, and human wearable technology. This research thrust aims to create new, fundable collaborations that will further advance the field of human-centered robotics.
