With William Godfred Cantah and Ewura-Adwoa Ewusie, Solomon studies 104 low- and middle-income countries from 2002 to 2020. They find that environmental policy first hinders and later helps industry in Asia and Latin America, but has the reverse effect in Sub-Saharan Africa.
