General Information
Once you declare Resource Economics or Managerial Economics as your major, you will be assigned an academic advisor. You are expected to check in with your advisor regularly. Your major advisor will help you plan the courses that will fulfill your major requirements while meeting your interests and goals. Your advisor will also guide you toward research and other opportunities that complement your studies.
Advising Appointments
- Advisors are available in-person in the Advising Suite, Stockbridge Hall room 306, as well as through Zoom or email.
- Academic advising appointments can be scheduled with Ruth Glickman DeLisle or Dorise Heller through Navigate.
- Academic, career, and internship advising appointments can be scheduled with Colby Gray through her personal Navigate link.
- More information about appointment availability and advisors' Personal Meeting IDs can be found in Navigate when you schedule an appointment.
If you are pursuing a Resource Economics minor, you can make a meeting on Navigate under Advising. When you select the reason, you'll scroll toward the bottom of the list, where it should say "explore how to declare or change majors..." and then select either Resource Economics or Managerial Economics. You should then get calendar availability for Dorise Heller or Ruth Glickman DeLisle to discuss. If you are a prospective major or minor, we encourage you to follow the instructions on our site before making an appointment.
