Nathan Chan Named to Journal Editorial Boards, AERE Scholars Program Committee

Resource Economics | UMass AmherstNathan Chan, associate professor, has been named to the editorial boards of the Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, and Land Economics.

In addition, Chan is also the organizing committee member for the inaugural AERE Scholars Program. This mentoring initiative is aimed at increasing diversity in environmental and natural resource economics, helping new members of the community succeed, and creating an inclusive culture in the field. Early career scholars accepted to this program receive mentoring, network-building, resources for success, and $1,500/year to attending the AERE Summer Conference for the two years beginning and ending the program.
