
Assistant Professor Matt Woerman's paper "Intermittency or Uncertainty? Impacts of Renewable Energy in Electricity Markets" co-authored with Paige Weber from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, recently won the 2022 USAEE Young Professional Best Paper Award. This paper decomposes the overall effects of renewable resources on electricity markets outcomes by separately estimating the impacts of renewables' intermittency and renewables' uncertainty.
