These forums are an opportunity for staff working around campus to connect with various central offices focused on research administration. The goal is to share experiences, best practices, and build a common understanding around research administration here at UMass. These meetings will have a standing agenda as follows.
- R&E & Controller's Office staff will share comments and experiences over the last month to increase common understanding in day-to-day work activities.
- Community Requested Topics - Submit requests for topics you would like discussed. Please submit to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 3 days prior to the forum.
- Presentations, Announcements & Updates – Related to policies, procedures, and new sponsor guidance.
- Breakout Rooms- Get to know other staff a bit more and learn how they conduct their work on campus.
Note: All information discussed and questions asked in advance will be presented anonymously.
Forums will be held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
