Research Administration Community Forums

These forums are an opportunity for staff working around campus to connect with various central offices focused on research administration. The goal is to share experiences, best practices, and build a common understanding around research administration here at UMass.

Sample Agenda: 

  • Presentations, Announcements & Updates - Related to policies, procedures, and new sponsor guidance.
  • Comments and experiences over the last month to increase common understanding in day-to-day work activities.
  • Community Requested Topics - Submit requests for topics you would like discussed. Please submit to at least 5 days prior to the forum.
  • Breakout Rooms - Get to know other staff a bit more and learn how they conduct their work on campus.

Forums will be held the bi-monthly. Future dates:

  • April 23, 2024 - Looking into an in-person networking meeting
  • Summer - TBD
