Monthly Pre-Award Community Discussion Forum

These forums will be an opportunity for staff working in pre-award administration around campus to connect with the Office of Pre-Award Services (OPAS), the Office of Research Project Management and Training (ORPMT), and Research IT. The goal is to share experiences, best practices, and build a common understanding around proposal development, review, and submission. These meetings will have a standing agenda as follows.


  • OPAS Debrief - Highlights of recent review comments to share and build a common understanding
  • R&E Help Desk Case Studies - Reviews of both content and technical Kuali related questions
  • Requested Topics - Discussion of submitted requests for topics related to recent pre-award reviews and/or general questions over the previous month. Please submit to at least 3 days prior to the forum.
  • Announcements & Updates – Related to policies, procedures, and new sponsor guidance

Note: All information discussed and questions asked in advance will be presented anonymously.

Forums will be held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
