Principal Investigator Award Agreement (PIAA)

  • The document is the mechanism by which the Principal Investigator (PI) formally acknowledges their responsibilities to the project and understanding of the corresponding award terms and conditions.

Drug Free Workplace (DFW)

  • This acknowledgment is only required when a Principal Investigator (PI) receives external funding for the first time.

Participation Agreement (PAG)

  • This acknowledgment is only required when a Principal Investigator (PI) receives external funding for the first time.

Sole Source Justification

  • The purpose of a sole source justification is to promote transparency and accountability in research procurement processes that involve federal funding. It serves to document a valid reason for bypassing a competitive bidding process and justifies the selection of a specific entity based on their unique capabilities.
