Environmental Leadership

Undergraduate researchers from the School of Natural Science enrolled in Intro to Natural Resource Conservation used the popular app INaturalist to identify many different plant species in the Renaissance Center's meadow. This project helps visitors gain a better understanding of the land and the meadow's native species and opens onto questions about the people who have visited this land previously and the non-native species they may have introduced.
