The CLASP Project ("A Consolidated Library of Anglo-Saxon Poetry") is funded by the European Research Council and based out of Oxford University.  As part of CLASP, Dr. Curran is researching the Anglo-Latin poetic tradition (c.600-1100). Her research explores the poetic functions and features of the Anglo-Latin poetic corpus in order to establish the styles and features of this particular tradition, and to define how the Anglo-Latin tradition differed and borrowed from, as well as influenced, the Continental Latin traditions.
