1Due to changes in our General Education curriculum, Diversity (DG or DU) credit will not be awarded to students entering Fall 2020 and after.

2 Graduation credit only, not to be used as replacement for Art Department required courses for BA and BFA degrees.

3 Graduation credit only, not to be used as replacement for Art Department required courses for BA and BFA degrees. We don’t have an equivalent course, so a general course number will be used instead.

4 Students who score less than 4 on Calculus BC, but receive a 4 or 5 on the AB subscore may earn 4 credits for Math 131. Students who score a 4 or 5 on both sections of the BC exam cannot earn double credit for Math 131.

Generic Credit

6 4 credits are awarded as of Fall 2022.  Students who matriculated prior to Fall 2022 will earn 3 credits.

Important Notes:

  1. Physics B was replaced with Physics 1 and 2 beginning Fall ’14. Anyone who took the Physics B test and scored 3, 4 or 5 will receive 8 credits for Physics 131 and 132.
  2. Anyone who receives credits for an AP exam and is majoring in that department should contact their undergraduate advisor to review their credit awards.
  3. Please make students aware if they do receive credit for an equivalent university course, they CANNOT then take the course at the university and receive double credit. Students who have registered for a course they earned credit for, should drop the cour se before the end of Add/Drop.
  4. CMPSCI 121 was replaced with CICS 110 beginning Fall 2023.
