Samantha Lacey

Sam joined the UMass RecWell department in June 2025.  Prior to UMass, Sam worked for Campus Recreation at the University of Vermont as a student staff member in Sport Programs. Upon graduation, she joined the professional staff at the University of Vermont as the Sport Programs Manager and spent two years enhancing special events and sports offerings. She has additionally worked as a USSF-certified Grade 8/Grassroots soccer official in various New England leagues and tournaments, including the Nordic Cup, GPS Memorial Day tournament, and Needham Tournament.

Sam serves as a Divisional Coordinator for NIRSA Region 1 soccer and contributes nationally as a member of the NIRSA Championship Series Soccer Work Team.
