David Quinlan
Assistant Director for Outdoor Experiential Education and Adventure
About
David’s love for the outdoors was fostered early by his family as he explored the woods and White Mountains of New Hampshire as a child. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2012 with a degree in Kinesiology: Outdoor Education and has been working in the outdoor industry ever since.
After college, David spent a few years as a whitewater guide in northern Maine during the summers and as a ski and snowboard instructor in Vermont before heading west to Colorado. Once he made the move, there was no looking back. For the past ten years, he has been guiding and managing outdoor programs across various western states, most recently in Washington and Alaska.
In 2019, David served on the Executive Board of the Nevada Outdoor Business Coalition, helping to establish Nevada’s first Office of Outdoor Recreation.
In his spare time—depending on the season—you’ll likely find him backpacking, backcountry skiing, or exploring new waterways of the Great Northeast.
