English 380 simulates the writing and editing processes used in the computer industry by asking students to write a manual documenting a software product, usually Microsoft Word, for a particular audience. Students are introduced to principles of task-oriented software documentation and page design.

3 credits. Prerequisite: ENGL 379 (Engl 379 and 380 may be taken concurrently with permission of instructor)
