Viviana Wu, assistant professor of public policy, has published new research titled "Community Leadership and Donor-Advised Funds: Navigating Logics of Donor Services and Community Leadership in Community Foundations" in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly. Her research attempts to understand the influence of donor-advised funds on community leadership practices in community foundations particularly in how leadership negotiates increased demands from donors. Wu's findings reveal a positive association between the logic of donor services and leadership practices and affirm that these logics not only coexist within community foundations but may also mutually reinforce each other.
