The School of Public Policy Graduate Student Council (SPP GSC) held the first event of its "First Drafts" lecture series at the Tunnel Bar in downtown Northampton, Massachusetts on March 9. The series brings students, faculty, and staff together to socialize, talk policy, and provide space for faculty to share their early-stage research in a casual environment. For this event, Brian Sargent, public policy and sociology, shared his lecture titled "Quixotism, Policy Education, and the Epiphenomenalism of Governance."
The SPP GSC will be hosting its next lecture in the "First Drafts" series in April with details TBA.
