Libby Sharrow, professor of public policy and history and director of faculty research at the UMass Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR), presented on a national webinar with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) regarding "Defending Equity: Standing Strong Against Attacks on Equity in Education." The AAUW is a national policy and advocacy organization active on the fight for gender equity in higher education for nearly 150 years. The panel featured Sharrow and co-panelists Dr. Deniece Dortch and Dr. Mayida Zaal, and was moderated by AAUW CEO Gloria Blackwell.
