Rebecca Hamlin, legal studies and political science, is quoted in a recent Newsweek article about the U.S. moving back into the top 10 most powerful passports in the world. In the article, Hamlin provides context around how and why the rankings change. "These decisions are often about relations between the two countries, about reciprocity, so if the U.S. starts requiring a visa, they might start requiring one in return," she says.
