The School of Public Policy (SPP) is proud to announce the national accreditation of SPP’s Master of Public Policy & Administration (MPPA) program by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs and Administration (NASPAA), the global standard in public service education. The School of Public Policy is already the first-ranked public university program in Massachusetts, according to U.S. News & World Report, and in the top 20 percent of all such programs, public and private, nationally. NASPAA accreditation involves a rigorous multi-year process of self-study, site visit, and peer review; it demonstrates the School’s excellence in providing effective, inclusive, and ethical public service education. It ensures that the program promotes public service values, pursuit of programmatic improvement and outstanding educational quality, all while demonstrating innovative approaches to curriculum design, community engagement and data-informed decision making. NASPAA accreditation reflects SPP’s commitment to providing students with the tools necessary to become effective leaders ready to meet the demands of an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
