Libby Sharrow, associate professor of public policy and history, has been awarded the 2025 UMass ADVANCE Faculty Peer Mentoring Award for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences for her outstanding contributions to faculty engagement and development. In her role as Director of Faculty Research at the Institute for Social Science Research, Sharrow "creates structures and settings that foster faculty networks for individual and collective growth." The award highlights Sharrow's dedication to a positive climate for faculty that supports academic success, mentoring, a sense of belonging for faculty from underrepresented backgrounds, and more.
