Lenore Palladino, economics and public policy, has published a new article in Labor Studies Journal analyzing past industrial policies aimed at the automotive sector and arguing for increased corporate safeguards. The article, titled "How Corporate Guardrails Can Improve Industrial Policy for Workers," critiques the "shareholder primacy orientation in US corporate governance" and argues for industrial policy that protects both the automotive industry's labor force and future success.

Palladino also appeared on NPR's Marketplace discussing private credit and investment as "regulated" versus "unregulated" markets. Listen to the segment here
