John M. Kamensky, visiting professor of public policy, has coauthored the lead essay for the February 2025 edition of The Ripon Forum titled, "A Brief History of Government Reform." In the essay, Kamensky and coauthor Mark A. Abramson discuss several efforts at government reform post-World War II and discuss the relevance of history when evaluating actions taken by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
