Gregor Semieniuk, assistant professor of public policy and economics, was cited in a recent report by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) titled "The Risks of Climate Change to the United States in the 21st Century." The report, which "assesses how climate change will pose risks to the United States through its effects on economic activity, real estate and financial markets, human health, biodiversity, immigration, and national security," cites Semieniuk's 2022 article in Nature Climate Change titled “Stranded Fossil Fuel Assets Translate to Major Losses for Investors in Advanced Economies."
