Ella Swinnerton, a first year student from New Jersey studying public policy, has teamed up with Professor Viviana Chiu Sik Wu to study community philanthropy in the U.S. and across the globe. Ella shares, “I'm excited about the upcoming opportunities to reach out to these global philanthropic organizations. I'm currently in the research and data collection stage of the project. Learning about all of these philanthropic organizations that are dedicated to doing so much good in the world is encouraging and inspiring. I really look forward to questioning the members of these foundations and learning more about what they do.”
