Carolina Rossini, professor of practice at the School of Public Policy and director of Public Interest Technology programs, has been selected as interim executive director of Public Interest Technology - New England (PIT-NE). Her appointment will continue until August of this year.
PIT-NE is "a consortium of colleges, universities and partnerships whose goal is to develop and train a Public Interest Technology workforce and to strengthen PIT programs in higher ed throughout the region." Founded in October, 2023, PIT-NE intends to act as a hub for PIT program and lead workforce development that can act as a model for addressing real-world challenges regionally and beyond.
