Governing Artificial Intelligence Book Talk
As we face AI’s profound and rapidly expanding impact, ethical and practical questions arise for how to effectively harness AI while preventing its worst externalities. Authors Leah Wing, Chris Draper, Scott Cooper, and Daniel Rainey will present on their new book, Governing Artificial Intelligence (2025) exploring the value of an AI governance eco-system—encompassing legislation, regulation and professional and international standards. A case study of international standards for AI in online dispute resolution will be examined along with strategies for coordinating governance mechanisms and suggestions for AI developers, providers, and users.
