Offered with the Isenberg School of Management, the MPPA/MBA is for students who plan to work in an environment that combines aspects of both public and private sector management or who expect to move between business and government positions during their careers. The degree can be completed in two-and-a-half years of full-time study.
Offered with the College of Education, the MPPA/MEd allows students to gain the skills to succeed in research, policy analysis, and management positions in federal and state governmental agencies, consulting organizations, education research groups, and nonprofit organizations working on education issues. The degree can be completed in three years of full-time study. MPPA/MEd students are highly encouraged to begin their program with MEd requirements.
Offered with the School of Public Health and Health Sciences, the MPPA/MPH prepares students for leadership positions in the public health policy arena, managerial roles at public health nonprofit organizations and advocacy groups, or careers as health policy analysts, research associates, program planners and evaluators, and risk analysts. The degree can be completed in three years of full-time study.
Offered with the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning, the MPPA/MRP prepares students for careers that link planning, policy, and public management through a curriculum focused on diverse areas of policy, management, and planning, including sustainable development, policy analysis and implementation, social policy and planning, information technology, and planning tools and techniques. The degree can be completed in three years of full-time study.
