What is the core mission of your role, or what is a major project you are currently working on? My role at FrontRunner focuses on helping hospitals, laboratories, community health centers, and other entities create a more efficient administrative experience for providers, staff, and patients. I am currently helping develop a new version of our software, where I work on improving the platform and adding features that make it more useful and intuitive for our users.
What excites me most is seeing how we can use technology to address real challenges in healthcare administration and directly improve the experience of those using it.

Could you share the story of how you found this position? Did a specific networking contact, internship, or program resource help open the door?: During my last year, I began looking for roles that would allow me to combine my background in healthcare with my training in data analytics. Having worked directly in patient care and healthcare administration, I was interested in exploring the technological side of healthcare and applied to positions in healthcare data and operations. I also joined a job-searching group through DACSS/SPP, where the advice and accountability from Emily, Marcie, and others
helped me stay motivated and ultimately played an important role in helping me land this position.

Is there a specific skill, methodology, or lesson from your degree that you rely on to do your work successfully? One lesson that I carry into my work is the importance of using data and technology to create meaningful social impact. My degree taught me to think beyond the technical aspects of a problem and consider how the tools we build and use can affect real communities.
