Undergraduate Year: At Least 6 Credits, Preferably 9

All DACSS 4+1 students can count 9 graduate-level credits taken as an undergraduate towards both their bachelor’s and master’s degree requirements. Some students may take another up to 3 graduate credits as an undergraduate that will count ONLY towards the masters. These additional 3 credits must be over the 120 undergraduate credits needed to graduate, and not used toward undergraduate requirements. No more than 12 credits total taken as an undergraduate may be used towards the masters.

If approved, the student must take one additional substantive or technical elective in addition to the two required courses in order to satisfy total credit requirement. Full time at the graduate level is 9 credits per fall or spring semester. Enroll in continuous enrollment (GRADSCH 999) for any Fall or Spring semester when you aren't taking classes. Taking fewer than 9 credits may affect loan deferral, parental health insurance, or have other implications.
