Undergraduate Year: 6 Credits
All DACSS 4+1 students can count 6 graduate-level credits taken as an undergraduate towards both their bachelor’s and master’s degree requirements. Some students may take another up to 6 graduate credits as an undergraduate that will count ONLY towards the masters. These additional 6 credits must be over the 120 undergraduate credits needed to graduate, and not used toward undergraduate requirements. No more than 12 credits taken as an undergraduate may be used towards the masters.

*DACSS 601 must be taken in the first semester. DACSS690M is a review course to prepare students for DACSS (substantive elective).
**Students must take at least 9 Technical Electives credits. There is no minimum number of Substantive Electives credits required.
***DACSS 604 should be taken in the last or second to last semester. Required Prerequisites: 601, 602, 603 (or approved substitutes). Strongly recommended: 3 DACSS electives (including at least two technical electives).
****Professional development classes are not required for students with 5+ years of work or thesis track students.
NOTE: In-person international students must complete their last semester in person (fall or spring) if applying for OPT.
NOTE: Starting summer 2024, a minimum grade of B is required for all core courses and a minimum grade of C is required for all elective courses.
