Chancellor, three faculty awarded tenure

he Board of Trustees on Aug. 7 approved the appointment with tenure of Chancellor John V. Lombardi as professor of History.

     The trustees also endorsed tenure for Elsbeth Walker, Biology; Christopher Raphael, Mathematics and Statistics; and Robin Young, also of Mathematics and Statistics.

     Board members also approved offers of appointment with tenure for Michael Henson and Dimitiri Maroudas, both in Chemical Engineering. An offer of appointment with tenure and appointment as the Isenberg Chair of Integrative Studies for Soren Bisgaard, Finance and Operations Management, was also passed. All three have accepted their appointments, according to the Provost's Office.
