Diversity Science Letter of Specialization

Are you interested in developing expertise in research and theory examining diverse influences on the human experience? Join our program!

Students can receive a letter of specialization by:

1. Taking Intro to Diversity Science (PSYCH 322)
2. Taking 3 diversity focused courses
3. Completing an applied/research experience
4. Students must 2 diversity-related events.  Please find events that promote equity, creating community, and amplifying marginalized voices. Examples include:
   • UMASS JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) conference
   • Student affinity groups
   • PRIDE events

Admissions are rolling and applications will be reviewed twice per semester.
