Besides being being able to have a meaningful impact on the lives of my future patients and their families, I love pursuing a career with an emphasis on lifelong learning and discovery.
How did UMass and/or Psychological and Brain Sciences help prepare you?
Supplementing my Psychology courses with a BDIC (build your own major) in Integrative Human Physiology helped me understand neurobiology on a deeper level. I was able to explore human health from all angles, both physical and mental, which enriched my learning experience and gave me greater perspective on where the future of healthcare could expand.

Get involved in things you're truly passionate about! It both enriches your college experience and gives you great talking points for interviews.
