Icek Ajzen Wins BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Social Sciences

Icek Ajzen, a professor emeritus from the College of Natural Sciences’s Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, has been selected as one of five winners for this year’s BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Social Sciences. These awards recognize contributions that have revolutionized attitude theory and its practical applications.

Gale Sinatra

Sinatra's research explores the cognitive and motivational factors that drive effective learning in science. In particular, she examines how motivation and emotion influence the teaching and understanding of contentious subjects such as biological evolution and climate change.


Robert Gordon Bringle Receives Fulbright Specialist Award to Portugal at Portuguese Catholic University

Robert Gordon Bringle

Dr. Bringle will complete a project at Portuguese Catholic University in Portugal that aims to exchange knowledge and establish partnerships benefiting participants, institutions, and communities.
