I am not currently research active but remain interested in the development of cognitive control and executive function abilities in both typical and atypical cases.  The influence of gene and environment interactions on brain and cognitive development are of particular interest. These interests form the bases for my 391 Seminar, Brain and Cognitive Development as described in my teaching interests.

I teach a variety of courses within PBS including: Brain and Cognitive Development, Laboratory in Physiological Psychology, and Methods of Inquiry. I am interested in a variety of methods used to understand both typical and atypical development and enjoy mentoring students in the use of various techniques and methodologies.

In the Fall of 2016 I will be teaching:
A 391 seminar about Brain and Cognitive Development, using this syllabus as a course map,
and 241 Methods of Inquiry, using this syllabus as an framework for the lecture and lab components.

I am working with Kyle Cave and Junha Chang on an fMRI project exploring the neural mechanisms underlying attentional zoom.
