July 13, 2020

Demanding a Safe and Equitable Fall

The PSU has been working with other unions across UMass and across all of public higher education to demand that our Commonwealth ensure that our campuses are fully funded so that all workers and programs can continue, and that we can continue to do our work safely.  You can read the MTA’s statement online.

There are three things you can do this week to help this campaign:

  1. Sign and share this petition.

  2. Demand progressive taxes on Wednesday, July 15!  Join in one of the many actions taking place across the state—find the one nearest you here.

  3. Attend a virtual Higher Education Town Hall on Thursday, July 16, 4-5:30 pm, to learn more about upcoming plans.  Register online.
