Du Bois Department of Afro-American Studies, and explore the visionary plans for the Former Malcolm X Center, led by the Black Presence Space Steering Committee.
Building on the previous Neurodivergence in Higher Ed: Getting to Know Our Colleagues JEDI session, Rita Curley (she/her) and Jules Purnell (they/them) return to co-host an intersectional panel discussion featuring working professionals from across UMass Amherst’s campus. This panel will feature a broader range of experiences with respect to race and/or disability, offering a greater diversity of perspective.
The Classroom Equity Action Plan Faculty Forum offers UMass Amherst faculty an opportunity to share insights with colleagues from different departments about their progress, strategies, and best practices in implementing the Classroom Equity Action Plan. The forum aims to enhance equity, belonging, and connectedness in the classroom for all faculty members, departments, and colleges.
The Faculty of Color Dinner will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. and is a night for UMass Amherst faculty and librarians of color to build community while enjoying great food, drinks, and conversation with fellow colleagues. Registration is required by 5pm Thursday, May 1st.
