Katy Maher
Executive Director for Financial Planning and Operations
Katy Maher is an Executive Director for Financial Planning and Operations in the Provost’s Office, responsible for financial and operational oversight for Enrollment Management, Undergraduate Affairs, Faculty Affairs, and the Five College program. In this role, Katy works with unit leaders to develop financial and operational plans, establish and streamline administrative procedures, analyze data to drive decision-making, and implement all financial and HR actions.
Katy holds an MA in Higher Education Administration from Boston College, and MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, and a BA in Business Administration from Saint Anselm College. Katy has been at UMass since 2012 in a variety of roles, most recently in the College of Information and Computer Sciences and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
