More than half of the respondents to a new UMass Amherst/WCVB poll said that Gov. Maura Healey, the Massachusetts legislature and members of the state’s all-Democratic congressional delegation should push back a lot on elements of President Donald Trump's agenda that conflict with state law or the U.S. Constitution. Fifty-two percent of respondents also said they approved of the job Healey is doing, with 32% approving of Trump’s job performance.
