Through the Five College Interchange program, UMass Amherst undergraduates have the opportunity to enroll in an array of courses at Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, and Smith College. Students may also access academic resources, facilities, libraries, as well as research, performance, and social opportunities across the five campuses.

Cost: There is no additional fee to take Five College classes.

Transportation: PVTA buses provide free transportation between the five campuses.

Registration: Registration for a Five College course is easy, but the registration dates and enrollment process is different from a UMass course. Do not use SPIRE to register for classes on other campuses.

For more information: https://www.umass.edu/fivecollegeinterchange/registration

Course approval: If you plan to take a Five College class and think it can be applied to your major, please schedule an appointment via Navigate to meet with Adrian Grace, Director of Undergraduate Advising.
