Plugging In After the Election
The Democracy in Troubled Times campuswide initiative, led by faculty in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences in collaboration with many sponsors and partners, will host two events next week to help members of the UMass community process the results of Tuesday’s election.
On Nov. 13, “Plugging In After the Election” will take place at 4 p.m. in the Great Hall of Old Chapel. The Migration Working Group is partnering with local immigrant assistance and advocacy organizations, as well as groups and offices on campus that work with non-citizen students, to organize and sponsor a session focused on the question: What comes next? This event is in collaboration with the Office of Global Affairs (formerly the International Programs Office).
