I am a comparativist and my work focuses on conspiracy politics and identity formation with an emphasis on Afghanistan and the broader Middle East region. My research examines the politics of everyday people. I investigate the ways people experience and discuss political developments such as institutional politics like voting, identity formation, migration and mobility, or statebuilding.
